Join a Local Group

Across the country EPA alumni gather to socialize, hike, visit interesting local sites, listen to speakers, and/or work together to protect the environment.

These gatherings are organized and managed independently of our Association, but we encourage their creation and are happy to list here groups that would welcome new members. Feel free to contact them.

Region 1

Boston area

Alumni organize social events as well as events to support current EPA employees during the year and provide helpful information to members. Alumni and current employees are welcome.

RTP area

Over 200 alumni are members of the RTP group which sponsors 4 or 5 events a year and provides helpful information to members. New members are welcome. More Information is posted HERE.

Chicago area

On the Third Thursday of most months, alums and current employees gather for Happy Hours at venues as announced on a rotating basis. Current employees and new Association Members are welcome.

Dallas area

Alumni and current employees celebrate Earth day each year. This year its on April 16th at 11 AM at the downtown El Fenix for lunch. If interested, contact Betty or Cindy. The first week of December, everyone gathers to kick off the Holiday Season.

Region 9

Marin/North Bay Hikers

Alumni and friends hike Marin County on the 3rd Thursday of the month, hiking 7to 10 miles with elevation changes of 1400 to 2000 feet.
