Three Administrators Speak Out
This moving op-ed brings together voices from across the political spectrum, former Administrators William Reilly, Christine Todd Whitman, and Gina McCarthy to sound a powerful warning about proposed deep cuts to the Environmental Protection Agency. With vivid examples, they remind us of EPA’s pivotal role in safeguarding our nation's environment and public health. Their united call underscores a core truth: dismantling EPA would leave America’s health and environment critically vulnerable and we’d all regret it when it’s gone.

Letter to EPA Staff
The EPA Alumni Association, representing over 3,000 former EPA employees, extends a message of support to current EPA staff, acknowledging the agency’s 54-year legacy of safeguarding human health, improving air and water quality, and managing environmental risks. In the letter, alumni affirm their solidarity with today’s public servants and urge policymakers to ensure the EPA remains well-funded and empowered to address future challenges.
