The Radium Girls

Walter Mugdan, former Deputy RA in EPA Region 2, tells the story of girls exposed to radium leading to perhaps the first toxic tort law suit and helping to pave the way to better occupational safety in the US. Walter also describes the difficulty of dealing with the waste at the manufacturing sites under Superfund.
